For millennia, hymnody has lifted the worship of God’s people. In the twenty-first century, we continue to be shaped profoundly by this rich tradition of text and tune. These new instrumental reflections seek to honor that heritage through imaginative writing that captures the depth of beloved hymns with conviction, warmth, and beauty.

Thoughtfully crafted for instrument and piano, these settings place both performers in expressive musical dialogue as equal partners in music-making. Varied in mood and character, the collections are designed to serve equally well in worship, recital, and sacred concert settings while remaining practical in length and technical demands.
