About Shaw Music

Shaw Music originated in 2004, and for many years existed primarily as a blog promoting the music of composer and pianist Timothy Shaw. Over time, as Shaw found success in music publishing, the blog transitioned into a full website and online store.

In 2018, Shaw Music expanded into a music publisher and distributor, carrying the music of Shaw and several affiliate composers, including Daniel Barta, Olivia Cresswell, Peter Hilliard, and Ryan Kelly, among others. Today, the catalog spans multiple genres and includes music for instruments, keyboard, choir, and voice.

While the catalog includes a number of composers, the music reflects a consistent artistic approach shaped by shared experience in church music and a common concern for clarity, balance, and reverence.

Scores are available digitally through Shaw Music ePrint or in hard copy exclusively through J.W. Pepper, a leading sheet music distributor since 1876.
