Daniel Barta’s latest offering, Lament for a Broken World, is a musical response to the grave discordance all around us. Its poignant text and hauntingly beautiful melodies give voice to the angst and ache we often feel. Using Psalm 65:5, the piece concludes with hope without ever abandoning the sadness.
