Concordia Publishing House has commissioned Timothy Shaw to compose a new hymn tune and choral setting for the text “Peace Came to Earth” by Jasroslav Vadja. These musical works will be included as the theme hymn in Concordia’s 2023 Advent and Christmas preaching series, a digital download resource that includes sermons, Bible studies, and worship services.
