Anthony Giamanco

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Anthony Giamanco attended Eastern Michigan University, where he studied voice, piano, organ, and composition. He has published over 400 works, and his titles appear in the catalogs of Alfred, Augsburg Fortress, GIA, Lorenz, Oregon Catholic Press, Shawnee, and others. His organ and piano works have also appeared in The Organist’s Companion (Leupold), The Organist, The Organ Portfolio, The Sacred Organ Journal, and The Church Pianist (Lorenz). Awards for his original works and arrangements include the vocal solo “Christmas Again” (Darcey Press); a TTBB a cappella setting of “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” (Jackman Music); and an original setting of “The Lord’s Prayer” for voice and piano. His works for organ have been recorded by Carson Cooman, James Flores, and Erik Simmons. He is a writer member of ASCAP, and a member of the American Guild of Organists.
