Jesus’ Call

Levi sat
at his desk
with his books
and money.
Jesus said,
“Follow me—
you are my
disciple.”
Levi rose,
left his things
and followed:

made a feast,
brought in friends;
served his Lord.
Pharisees
objected.
Jesus said,
“I have come
not for those
who are well—
I have come
for sinners.”
